Booking Terms and Conditions 2012 - Bed & Breakfast
By booking your holiday with Mr & Mrs Hughes-Roberts you agree to the following terms and conditions
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of a third of the total holiday cost (min £70) is required, within 7 days of booking, if more than 4 weeks before the start of holiday. Full payment is required if less than 4 weeks to the start of holiday.
We will send you a confirmation letter, by email or by post, upon receipt of the deposit.
Balance
The balance is payable 4 weeks prior to your arrival date. No reminders will be sent.
Payment should be by bank transfer (preferable and details are given on booking) or by cheque.
Please make cheques payable to Mr & Mrs Hughes-Roberts.
General
A legally binding contract is entered into between Mr & Mrs Hughes-Roberts and the guest, on the issuing of a confirmation of booking and receipt of a third deposit of holiday cost or the full amount of holiday cost (if less than 4 weeks before the start of the holiday).
Cancellations
Please advise us as soon as possible if you have to cancel. Cancellations should be made by telephone and followed up by a letter. The contract requires the guest to pay for the accommodation in the event of a cancellation unless:
a) More than 4 weeks notice is given prior to the start date of the holiday, then only the loss of the deposit will occur. If we are able to rebook your room(s) cancelled, all monies paid by the guest will be refunded minus £50 administration fee.
b) Less than 4 weeks notice is given prior to the start date of the holiday then we reserve the right to charge the full amount. If we are able to rebook your room(s) cancelled, all monies paid by the guest will be refunded less the deposit.
In order to avoid charges due to cancellation, we advise you to take out insurance and details are available on request.
Guests’ Responsibilities
Please remember that this is a b&b, not a hotel, and as such is our family home. All guests are expected to take reasonable care of the rooms and leave them in the same condition as found on arrival. Guests are responsible for any breakages, damage or extra cleaning, as well as the costs associated with these, and these must be reported on departure.
If problems arise during your holiday, please notify Mr. & Mrs Hughes-Roberts immediately so these can be resolved effectively and efficiently. No complaints will be accepted once the holiday has finished.
Mr. & Mrs Hughes-Roberts reserve the right to terminate, without notice, an individual’s stay, where deemed necessary, through unacceptable behaviour, or as a result of actions which are likely to offend others.
